Who
are Junior Rangers?
Junior
Rangers is a team formed of youth from Turda trained as local
guides. The members of the team are between 12 and 18 years
old, selected on the basis of enthusiasm for and interest
in environmental issues and tourism and their experience in
outdoor excursions.
The
youth organize activities in an ecological spirit to promote
the cultural, historical and natural heritage of the region
of Turda. Through this program the participants gain knowledge
of the importance of the natural reserves in the area and
local heritage sites. |
