Aries Valley and the Bedeleu Massive

After passing Buru village, 25km into the Aries Valley, the Bedeleu Cliffs sit at an altitude of over 1100m, the Bedeleu Clifs are found at more than 1100m in altitude and sit over vegheaza asupra asezarilor cuibarite pe firul vailor.

One by one the villages are strung below the mountains: Vidolm, Ocolis, Lunca Ariesului, Posaga, Salciua ... But the road does not stop here, it climbs towards Campeni and beyond the rocky country of the Apuseni.

The most important sites in the region are: Huda lui Papara Cave (over 2m long), Poarta Zmeilor Cave, the Vanatara precipices and waterfall, Red Crag from Vidolm, Vidolm Reservation, Sipote’s travertine cascades, SubPiatra Monastary.

From Salciua, over the mountains, towards the south, the foot path towards the wonderful zone of Ramatea, through a world frozen in time in the Trascau rocks and through places where time appears to have stopped moving.
